Why AAmurusko?
We purchased our affix in 2008 on the success of our first whippet Ziggy (Harri Hester) pictured right.
Our honeymoon to Finland to take part in a husky safari, in 2007, was the inspiration we needed to bring 'human' and 'dog' together. Having watch the spectacular Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis whilst in Finland we orginally applied for the affix of 'Aurora' however this had been taken.
So with a little re-think along came the affix of Aamurusko, prenounced as it sounds this is the finnish word for Aurora or godess of the dawn as it is known.
Our dogs are bred from quality, healthy lines and whilst we show some of them they are very much family pets first, living in our house, and 'assisting' us in running our 5 acre caravan park.
